Sho will get back on Wednesday, when she wilt load for Lytteltoii, Timaru, Oamaru, and Dunedin. To-day at noon the Kapuni will leave for Patea. On Tuesday tho vessel will leave Patea for Tarakohe to load coal for Patea. Levin and Co. advise that they do not expect the Opa-wa to be ready to recommence running until the end of next weeU. On Wednesday last the Defender arrived at Hokitika after a rough passage. Beforo reaching Greymouth from Wellington last Tuesday the veseel encountered the gale which raged on Monday evening, and on arrival at Hokßika was put on the "hard" for examination. She is to leave Hokitika to-day for , Wellington, being due on Monday. Tho vessel will leave on Tuesday for Picton and Hokitika. On Thursday evening the Regulus should have reached Greyinoutli from Onelunga. After discharging her cargo the vessel loads coal for Nelson and Wanganui. Owing to shortage of labour in Lyttelton tho overhaul to the Wootton is taking some time to complete, and the agents now advise that they do not expect the vessel here until about Wednesday next. The- agents for the Tainui advised yesterday that the vessel will arrive on Sunday from Lyttelton, and sail on Monday at 11 a.m. for Pteton; thence to Wanganui. The Eosamond, en route from Greymonth. to Napier with coal, passed' the Heads at, 2 p.m. yesterday." j
