SAILORS' FRIEND SOCIETY
Miss .T. Nicholas arranged a concert for the seamen in port at the Sailors' Friend Society on Tuesday evening. Knoores rewarded the Misses Nicholas (2). Pickett, Haws, Nixon, Lenzies, and Messrs. Burd and Haws. The Misses Nicholas were at the piano. Mr. Moore, missioner, spoke on "Here's How" in relation to temperance, and the petition re 6 o'clock closing was signed. The competitions were most successful'. Miss Nioholas responded to the vote of thanks.
