. « AUSTRALASIAN SHAREHOLDERS AGREE TO FUSION. By Telegraph—Press Association. Dunedin, June 13. It may now bo definitely stated that the Australasian, shareholders of the Union Steam Ship Company have accepted the proposal as to the' fusion of the interests and those of the P. and 0. Company by a decisive majority. Tho final decision, of course, will be determined at Home, but ii» view of the cable message- reporting that a majority of» the British shareholders of the Union Company has approved, practically of tho amalgamation, it is almost beyond doubt that fusion will bo effected.
