A MOTOR-OAR DEAL.
. His Honour Mr. Justice Hosking and a jury_ of twelvo yesterday concluded the hearing of a case in -which Clarkson Motors, Ltd., of Wellington, claimed tho sum of £143 13s. from C. H. Barrington, tail-owner, of Kelburn, for the liiro of a Pathfinder car and accessories. There was a counter-claim by defendant for £540 being £200 paid toward tho purobase of tho car, £200 as damages, £105 ss. for hire and demonstrative work at shows and £35 for alleged loss of profits throu-h loss of use of the car.
Mr. T. Young appeared for plaintiff and Mr. M. Myers for defendant. Tho jury found that plaintiff was entitled to £143 135., loJs £65 ss. Judgment was therefore entered for plaintiff for tho balance pf £78 Bs.
