HJ3 Honour Mr. Justice Hoskins hisard three undefended divorce cases in the Supreme Court yesterday. In i the case Ethel Whitjield t. Ancnn William Creo 'Wliitfield, which, had been adjourned to give. His Honour an opportunity of Tcading evidence taken in Jtelbonme, a decree nisi was granted. The ground of the petition was adultery. Jane Nevillo Toy -was granted a decree nisi in lier suit for a, divorco from Alfred Toy, on tho ground, of adultery. Elizabeth Ann Jenkins alleged that her husband, Henry Jenkins, waa an habitual drunkard and failed to maintain her: Tho partiM were married in 1885 at Christehurch. and about 1900 respondent started drinking-. Petitioner had made efforts to reform him. even goinff so far as to" set him up in business at her own expense. His Honour na<l» a dcoree nisi.
