Swift, n member of tho Kditing Commit Ire, who has enlisted for active service during tho year. It is hoped I hat ho may safely tolutii to lalte up again this valunhle work for ihe association. It has been proved by the large number of transfers recorded and sales made that the Hereford breed is as popular as ever, and Hio demand for good animals is still undiminished. Tho association's awards at Poverty Bay, Hawlco's Bay, and jranairatu ar* West Coast A. and V. Shows drew large classes and excellent exhibits.
