Professor H. D. Bedford, of Otago TJni. versity, is at present spending his vacation lecturing in various centres on some of tho experiences he had w'UUb abroad with. New Zealand troops last summer. Dr. Bedford -went away laat September as a field-secretary of the Y.M.C.A., and it so happened that the troops ho accompanied had an unusually eventful voyage. Dr. Hedford entitles his lecturo "Stirring; Times with the New Zealand Troops on Active Service." Ho is rcturninc to "Wellington to ; day from the north, and the only opportunity of hearine him locally will bo at the r.M.O.A. Assembly Hall tomorrow -afternoon, where he will address a meeting of men only at 4 p.m.
