Allport, Secretary for Marine, advised yesterday that the Hinemoa -would not stay here to undergo overhaul, as ivas previously arranged, but will go north on her trip round the lighthouses and harbours first. This is in viow of tho fact that tho Slip is not available until late this month, and as some of tho lighthouses would probably bo getting ehort of provisions if left so long tho Hinemoa will lcavo on Monday for the north. To-mor-row tho Hinemoa will leave for French Pass to pick up Assistant-Keeper T. G. Simmons, who goes to take chargo of Moko Hiiiau lighthouse, where he replaces Principal-Keeper J. E. Ansin.who trausfcrs to Kaipara in place of Mr. ,T, Arnold, who Uikca chargo of Tiritiri lighthouse in plaeo of Keeper J. Turner, who has been transferred to tho Auckland Customs.
