HUNDREDS OP DEATHS DAILY. (Reo. June 6, 5.15 p.m.) Berne, June 5. The wholo of Russian 4 Poland is gripped by famine, which is especially acuto in Warsaw, Lodz, and other industrial centres. The Polish Slate Council has appealed (o the German authorities to tako urgent measures to a.void a catastrophe. There are hundreds of deaths daily from lack of food.—Aus.-N.Z. Cablo Assn.
