EMPIRE DAY CHURCH PARADE
■ THE ABEANGEMESTS. ■A naval and military church parado in celebration of Empire Day will bo held to-morrow afternoon at .1 o'clock. Tho parade will be a long one if the units who are to participate turn out with •their; full strength. The following will take part-.—Troops f'vom ihe camps, AVellingtoji returned soldiers and sailors, Sew Zealand veterans, Territorials, Cadets, and Boy Scouts. The musical arrangements include tho combined choirs arid the massed bands, the Trenthiun, Tramways, Wateraido Workers', Central Mission, and Patriotic Society, under tho directorship of Mr. R. de Lacy Peek. The officiating clergymen will he: Chap-lain-Captain S. J. Mathieson, of tho Twenty-sixth Reinforcements, ChaplainCaptain G. Knowles Smith, and the Rev. Archibald 1). Hunt. Tho men from Trenthani and Featherston Camps, including tho Trentham Baud, will assemble at 2 p.m. at Bunny Street. Returned soldiers and- men-o'-warsinem will parade in Grey Street at 2 o'clock, and will be headed by tho Patriotic Society's Band. Tho Senior Cadets will essemblo at Buckle Street, and will bt> headed by the Central Mission Band. Territorials will parade on the eastern side of Courtenay Place, and will be headed by the Tramways Band. Tho Boy Scouts will meet in Post Office Square at 2 o'clock, and will march.'off at 2.35 p.m. up Grey Street, and will, fall 1 in behind the procession. Tho Town Hall will bo opened at 2 o'clock, and the service will commence at 3 .o'clock sharp. The celebration has been arranged by tho Patriotic Society.
A special Empire service ivil bo conducted at the Unitarian Free- Church, Vivian (Ingostre) Street on Sunday evening, when Sir Robert Stout will.deliver an address upon .the- subject, -"A Vision of tho Future."
