COALITION NEGOTIATIONS. Ottawa, May 31. Negotiations aro proceeding between Sir Robert Borden and Sir Wilfrid Laurier for the formation of a Coalition Government in order to enforce conscription. The outcome is not settled. The anK-conscription disturbances in Quebec aro abating, but the Labour elements are strongly objecting to compulsion. Tho introduction of tne Military Service Bill lifts been postponed, ponding the' reorganisation of tho Government.— Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
