Lord Devonport (tho Pood Controller) has taken over all imports of United States, Canadian, Amsterdam, and New Zealand cheese, and fixed the retail price at Is. 4d. per lb.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.-Rcuter. Later. Following the usual course, Lord Devonport "will take over the consignments of cheese from the original' consignees, and will fix the prices. Later he will cancel contracts by the'original consignees.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.Reuter.
