London, May 2!). The situation in Greece is still complicated, but there, seems to be a republican movement' spreading. It is significant Hint M. Venizelos, who hitherto has emphasised the fact that his movement was not anti-dynastic, now openly asserts that King Constantino must go if Greek political liberties are to bo maintained. The President of the Congress of Hollenic Countries also declares that the dynasty has become impossible, a.nd that the establishment of a republic has become inevitable.— Keuter. The "Times" correspondent at Athens states that altogether 101 Greek ships, aggregating 300,000 tons, have been torpedoed by tho Germans.—The "Times."
