Cockayne Cost, who died in London on March 2, was tho first Unionist editor of tho "Pall Mall C!a7,ette," succeeding Mr. K. T. Cook when Mr. Aster purchased tho journal in 1802. At tho (imo he was M.P. for Stamford, Lincolnshire. Ho was heir 'presumptive to Lord Brownlovf, and was .15 years old.
