CRIPPLED SOLDIERS' HOSTEL
At the conclueioj of his performance on Saturday evening at Hie Majeetv'e Theatre, Skipper Francis was presented with a silver-mounted walking stick thegift of a' Wellington admirer, for' the good work done by him en behalf of tho Crippled Soldiers' Hostel. The audience sang "For He's a Jolly Good Follow" and gave- three hearty cheers. Skipper Francis is to be a member of tho concert party which Mre. Kennedy has organised to tour the Wairarapa.
The ari union gives every promise of being a great success. Ticket sellers in the Crippled Soldiers' Hostel art union are requested to pav all moneys to the secretary (Mr. B. Sutherland) only, as no other person i 3 authorised to collect money.
