Sanderson, who was a member of the British Delegation to Petrograd, said that the revolution, had not brought free speech and a free Press to Kussia. There was a most powerful censorship on behalf of the democracy through the newspaper compositors, who absolutely refused to set up passages of any speech, however line,' which were not pleasing to the advanced Wing Party. It is estimated that the first subscriptions to the Liberty Loan will considerably exceed a thousand million roubles (about .£100,000,000).
