Washington, May 27. It is semi-officially announced that tlie aims of the British Commissioners nave been fitjly achieved. Scientific BritishAmerican co-operation, vitally affecting tlie future of the war, Las been arranged. It includes, besides military aid, full co-operation in tho British blockade system; and the United States Consuls in : Holland and Scandinavia are to oversee the rationing: of those countries. .America is also to give preferential and 'Commercial treatment to the Allies. The "New York World's" Washington correspondent states that America will act harmoniously with the Allies togardiiiy the dismemberment of AustriaIlungary, which will result in independence for Bohemia, in Trentino and Trieste being given to Italy, Transylvania to Rumania, and Bosnia and Herzegovina to Serbia. The "Tribune's" Washington correspondent states that the Allies are reconsidering tho idea of the anti-German commercial boycott after the war, in deference to America's suggestion that the rebuilding' of Europe might require material from Germany.—Ahs.-N.Z.
