FRENCH CLUB

The weekly • gathering of tho Fronch Club was presided over by Miss Van Staveren. The programme was entirely composed of reading, and proved very enjoyable. Professor Balham read "I/Heritage," u short humorous story by Ludovic Halevy. Miss Timmins gave a reading from "Tartarin de Tarascon," by Daudet, which waa followed by Mr. Adaraeon's charming poem entitled "Co qui restent." Mr. Whotton read an old legend of Prance, "La Chanson do la Caiile." ,
