PRECAUTIONS TO SAVE OVERSEA FOOD SHIPS

The Glasgow shipowner, Mr. Hector Macneal, has been appointed controller of coastal shipping to arrange for the transhipment of cargoes from larger liners arriving at first Home ports. It is anticipated that this arrangement will save much of tho oversea shipping from attacks by submarines.-Heuter.
