0 The election of councillors to the; Court of Convocation of tlie Victoria University District will be held on Thursday, June 7, at .the College. The nominations closed yesterday, and only one election for three members to the Council will he necessary, as in the several constituencies the nominations did not exceed the number required. The following being the only candidates nominated in their several constituencies, have been duly elected-.— Roll of certificated teachers—l'mlericlo H. Bakewell, M.A. Roll of members of Education Boards—? Hon. A. T. Maginnity, M.L.C. 801 l of governing .Indies of secondare schools-Hon. .T. G." W. Aitkcn, M.L.C. Roll of teachers in secondary schools! and technical day schools—Mr. W. S. Lai Trobe, M.A. The following nominations hav» been' received to fill three vacancies-.—Messrs. \Y. H. Morton. C. B. Morison. K.C., P. Levi, LL.B., Dr.'C. P. Knight.
