Kcohell (wlio died in London', wnither lie had come for the meeting of Convocation) as Archdeacon of Gloucester. Canon STobnouse has on a former occasion occupied tho position of an Archdeacon, having been Archdeacon of Aston in 1912-13. He is a son of the kte Bishop Hob'hoirse, of Nelson, New Zenland, and bae had a ■idistinsiiiehed career.
