i FORECAST AND SUMMARY AT 4 P.M. YESTERDAY. Present indications are for freshening northerly to westerly winds, weather cloudy and unsettled, with rain following shortly, especially on the West Coast and southern districts. Atmospheric pressure increased yesterday, but a falling barometer has been reported to-day, with moderate to strong northerly and westerly winds and increase in cloudiness generally. D. 0. BATES.
