Tho stock yarded were of excellent quality, especially the Ehccp. and wo quitted tho wholo yarding cf sheep, with the exception of one pen, at the' following pricos:—Ewes, in lamb to Eomnoy ram, 21b. 6d.; -4, 6. and 8tooth ewes, Z9s.; f«t wethers, 225., 263. M. /to 325.; 1-year ewes, in lamb to S.D. J'am. 11s., 16s. to 225.; fat ewes, 275. 6d. to 325.; mixed sex -woolly lambs, 23b. 'd. to 245.; shorn lambs, lls. 6d, to Ihs. 6d.; fat cows, £9 3s. to £10.

Ltd., reporting on their -weekly sale at Cartcjton, state that they yarded a v ery fair entry of both sheep and cattle, which were disposed of at the following prices: -2-tooth wethers. 245.. 27s.'to 315.: ewes in lamb to S.D. ram, 21s. to 295.; blackface' lambs, 17s. to 23«. lid.'; whitcfaec woolly lambs, lfc. to 19s. Cattle: Store cows, £5 10s. to £6 10s.; 20-month steers, £8 10s.: 18-month steers. £7 ss. to £7 10s.; 18-month heifers, £4 Bs. to £4 10s.
