CONSCRIPTION IN CANADA
(Kec. May 20, 5.5 p.m.) Ottawa, May 18. Sir Robert Borden (Prime Minister), in. the Canadian House of Commons, announced that the selective draft would be adopted in Canada to provide fifty to a hundred thousand men to reinforce the divisions at the front— Aus.-N.Z. Cable S'ssn.
