STATEMENT BY HON. A. M. MYERS. \ By Telegraph—Press Association. Auckland, May 20. Regarding the savings of the people ofthe Dominion for the past three years, the Hon. A. M. Myers, speaking at the Commercial Travellers' Club, quoted figures shoving the position at March 3t last compared with March, 1914, the latter figures being given in parentheses:— Postal Savings Bank—Depositors: 547,036 (491,358). ' Total deposits: £26,901,829 (,£17,422,563). Private Savings Banks—Deposits: J82,412,465 (£1,792,102).-
