They quote:—Two-tooth wethers, 305.; mixed-age ewes in lamb, to 255. 3.d; woolly lambs, 17s. to 205.; small lambs, Ms. 3d.; three•year steer*. £13 95.; two and a half-year steers. £12. 10$.; £ood one and a half-year heifers, r.w.b.. £7 35.: yearling heifers, to £4 10s.; ompty forward cows. £6 18s. to £8; empty stovo cows. £4 10s.. £4 155., to £6 10s.; springing heifers, £6 10s.. £7 155., to £10 10s-: springing cows, £9 to £10 125.; mixed weancrs. 405.; wcaner bull £4. A turkey, sold on behalf of tho patriotic fund, realised £2 15s. Messrs. Dalgely and Company, Ltd., Ealmerston, North, report holding their autumn cattle fair at Taihape, on Wednesday la*i, when the yarding, comprising all olasses, was offered to a large attendance of buyers. Although prices were in Rome cases easier than those rulins some little time ago, practically all lines changed hands. Quotations:—Mixed weancrs, £4, £4 55.. £5 10s., to £6 19s. 6jd.; small fifteen-month 6teere, £6 Bs.; lov£-conditioned eighteen-month steers. £7 10s.. £8, to £8 ,45,; twenty-month steers. £8 lis., £8 145.. £9. £9 10s., £10 45.. to £10 65.; two and a half-year steers, £12 13s. to £12 18s.; threeyear steers. £13 45., £13 17s. 6d., £13 188. 6d., £14, to £14 10s.: three and a half to four- • year bullocks, £15 17s. 6d. to £16 55.: empty cows. £5 10s. to £6 10s.; cows, r.w. bull. £8; sows and calves. £9 12s. to £10 135.; springing heifers, £10.
