Ldwin Jnmcs Shcard was found guilt'.' of forgery, theft, and detaining a postal packet, but no sentence was imposed, the accused, a soldier, forged his wife's nanio to a re-direction order at die post office, and detained letters addressed to her. Accused stated ho had secured the letters, with a view to stopping a certain correspondence. lie thought he had an honest right to open his wife's letters.
