TAUPIRI COAL MINES By Telegraph.—Press Association. Auckland, May 15. The annual report of the Taupiri Coal Mines, Limited, shows tho year's profits to be £4480, against which is a debit from the previous year of £3263, leaving an actual net profit of £1217. Durine; Ihe year 20,000 preference shares were issued at 8 per cent, interest on the amount paid up. This paymnt would absorb £837. leaving £380, which will be carried forward. The sum of £1329 was paid last year in respect to disaster compensaton. No further liability remains on this head.
