The amount of rain that haf fallen will" hamper farm- operations, especially the sowing of wheat and the diguing and delivery of potatoes. The offerings of potatoes have eased off. and owing to the paddocks being soft deliveries will l.e delayed'- -The market has firmed in cf.nsetjiieDfie.- and the price has recovered to £1 ss! per ton at country stations.
