The annual report of the municipal abattoirs (for the year ended March. 31) has been prepared, and in all lines savo pigs the number of stock slaughtered shows'~a decrease on the figures for 1915-IG. Tho figures are as follow :— No. Slaughtered. The total fees for the year amounted to £5560 13s. Mi, bemz * doorcase of £792 17s. sd. oil the figures for the previous year.
