WHITE FLAG INTRIGUERS
GERMAN OFFICERS SNUBBED,
~. „ Petrograd, May 14. Two German officersj with a white flag, approached the Russian lines', and were taken to Dvinsk blindfolded. They interviewed General Dragomiroff, to whom they suggested fixing a neutral zone for the purposo of peace negotiations. General Dragomiroff pluntly rejeoted the proposals, and said that they involved treachery to tho Allies, and sent the mission hack to its own lines.— Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn. •
