ZEPPELIN BROUGHT DOWN
Probably imposed by a break in the weather, a comparative lull at present prevails on the Western front, the operations being confined to raids, artillery duels, and local actions. ; Further details of the British coup at Bullecourt, by which tho Australians' hold on part of the position was extended and strengthened, show that the attjack was brilliantly conceived and carried out with such dash that the Germans were taken off their guard. The British have completed the capture of Roeux. A dispatch from the Now Zealand war correspondent shows that "the Dominion's troops hare been undergoing special preparation, their sector of the line being comparative- . ly quiet. The division is very fit and fully prepared for the next call in tho great offensive! A remarkable conference has just oeen held between M. Miliukoff (Foreign Minister in the Russian Provisional Government), M. Korcnsky (Minister of Justice), M. Skobcleff (a leading member of the Executive of the Soldiers' and Workmen's . ' Delegates), and delegates from the lighting front. The speakers did not mince matters, but frankly pointed out that dissension in Russia at the present critical juncture would be fatal to the nation's hopes.
