The Hon. A. M. Myers leaves for Auckland this afternoon.
The Rev. C. H. Harvey, Vicar of Wadostown, who is now chaplain to the Twenty-fifth Reinforcements, has been advised that his brother, Captain C. L. Harvey, Lincoln, 'England, died of wounds on Thursday, May 10.

The death occurred at New Plymouth yesterday morning of Mr. Daniel Berry, an old resident, well known in the hardware trade arid through his connection with the late Sir Alfred Cadman in ironsand enterprises.—Press Assn.
The installation of ISro. T. A. H. Dixoii as Worshipful Master oF the Masterlon Masonlic Lodge, and the investiture of officers, took place on Tuesday evening, It.W. Bro. J. W. Ellison, P.C.U., acted as Installing Master. x
Mr. A. M'Cosh Clark, of Auckland, has resigned from the Auckland Chamber of Commerce, owing to having been accepted for active service. Mr. Clark is well known in Wellington. '■
