Handicaps for the minor events at th Auckland winter meeting, which open on JWie 2, are due on Monday next. Weights for the Ota'ki meeting are dm on Friday. To qualify for a start in the Junipers Jilat li-o.ee at fcllerslie a horse moist havi contested a hurdle race at least threi times. -Amongst the nominations -fo t-bis year's event is Icoberg, who, unles he races each day at Wangariui ana one at lillerslie, will be unable to start.
