Admiralty, per Wireless Press: —A German official report stales: "Great iMialish attacks made from Lens to Q.ueant, between Gavrelle and the bcarpo, astride the Arras-Cambrai Road, and near Bullecourt, brokt- down, ■they only succeeded in forcing an entry into Eoeux. Attacks on both sides ot Monchy also broke down. The advantages the English had gained at Bullecourt were again recovered by the counter-thrusts of our Guards. French astride the Corben>-l'ontavert Eoad failed. The enemy lost seventeen aeroplanes yesterday. , —Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.-Beuter.
