FRESH CALL ON BRITAIN'S MANHOOD
VOLUNTARY ENLISTMENT FOR VARIOUS SERVICES. (Rec. May 13, 5.5 p.m.) London, May 12. The War Office announces tho opening, within a week, of two new groups for voluntary attestation, one for men, married and single, who aro not over forty-five, and the other for married and single men between fortv-five and fifty.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn'.-Renter. (Roc. Jlay 13, 5.5 p.m.) London, May 12. The "Daily Mail" states that the War Office will presently appeal to ovory lit single and married man between 41 and 50 to enlist under a now voluntary scheme. It is notintended to send these men to tho front. Tlioy will iic used behind tho lines, in the auxiliary services, tho Homo Defence Forces, and munitions works in Franco and England.—United Service,
