Prices .ruled aB under:—Medium fat ewes, 3fs. 6d.; small -woolly lambs, to 175., 4d.; f.m. owes, in lamb, to 265.; cull owes, 10s.; two and a half-year steers, to £13 95.; 'weancr steers, £4 15s. to £5 2s. 6d.;weaner hei--lere, to'£2 155.; light, fat cows; to' £14; •store vcows,- £3 to £6 10s. At Otaki on Wednesday they offered a good yarding 'both of sheep and cattle. Thero was a good attendance, and bidding was spirit-' ed throughout, almost the whole entry "■ being disposed of under tho hammer. "They quote:—Pat wethers and'ewes, to 355. Bd.; fat lambs, 28s. Id.; four . and sii;tooth wethers, 345. Id.; two-tooth wefh...crs, 325. 3d.; empty ewes. ~295. to 30s. Id.; :_mixed ewes in lamb, 225.'6 d. to Sss Id - cull.ewes. 13s. 9<L : .woolly lambs, to 20s.
