j DOMINION CONFERENCE. i The Dominion. Conference of the ■ Church of England Men's Society was. • continued yesterday. | At the morning session tho Bishop of | Wellington delivered an address on i "Reunion of Christendom,'" and the Bishop of Nelson dealt with the problem of "How may the Church meet the Spiritual Needs of Returned Soldiers." At the meeting in the afternoon, Dr. Fclltin read a paper on "Tho Church and the' Present," and Mr. R. Gardner a paper on "The Church and the Future." As a result of a discussion on the latter, it was decided to send an appeal from the conference to all O.E.M.S. members in New Zealand, asking thom to adopt as a rule of personal life the regular attendance j at Holy Communion; the allocation of a definite portion of their income to ! church work; to express fellowship to j Christ in true citizenship; to reeog- ! uiso that character-building is the basis j of education and to do all in their j power to encourage the formation of I Church schools.
At the evening session, which closed the conference, the Rev. Canon Taylor spoke on "Church Work amoiiE onr Soldiers at the Front," and Mr. J. Snell dealt with the subject of "Religious Reconstruction.** '
