I ! o DEATH OF AN INFANT. ( Aii inquest was held yesterday afteri noon by Mr. W. G. Riddoll, S.M., into > the circumstanceb attending the death ' of Morris M'F'arlano, aged three years i and ten months, the infant son of s Daniel M'Fariane, 249 Rintoul Street, who was run over by a milk van .last ! ; Tuesday morning and died iu the Hospital about 4.30 p.m. the same day. According to the evidence the child was sent to deliver a message, and while crossing the street was knocked down by a milk van belonging to . Walter Russell, dairyman, of 162 Bussell Terrace, and driven by Frederick I Piper. The child was taken in tho milk van to the Hospital immediately. I The off wheel of the van passed over | the body of the child. I The Coroner returned a verdict that i death was due to injuries received from j being accidentally run over by a milk ! van.
