MR. MASSEY ON PREPAREDNESS. London, May 9. The British Empire Producers' Association presented Mr. \V. F. Massey (Prime Minister of New Zealand) with a silver salver, in recognition of his services in the development of the Empire. Mr. Massey, in reply, said he did not desiro recognition. He had worked for tho unity of the Empire, to which they all belonged. Germany after the war would fight to keep all she had obtained, and it would be necessary to use all our own enterprise to meet the new conditions.
