Mr. L. 0. H. Tripp presided at the I meeting of the Wellington Acolimatisa- j tion. Society, held last evening. Tho application of the society for j 150,000 rainbow trout ova. for this season has been forwarded to the con-, servator of fish and game at Rotorua. i At the annual meeting of the Pal-1 merston North branch of the society it j was decided that that body secede from i the Wellington Society.
