N.Z. TROTTING BOARD
THE GIESEN CASE. By Telegraph.—Press Associntion. Christchurch, May 9. At a meeting ofxfJie board of the New Zealand Trotting Association, the Giesen case was considered at great leDgth. Eventually Mr. Giesen signed' the following statement:—"l unreservedly withdraw my letters to the association and the statements crntained therein in connection with the actions of the Auckland Trotting Club, and express my regret in regard to the action I took in connection Tvitk the Auckland boycott case." It vas decided that a copy of that statement should be forwarded to the Auckland: Trotting Club, and that Mr. Giesen's application for a.license be considered later.
