The GallTpoli campaign was the subject of a lecture delivered by Captain Renner at the Netvtown Library Hall on Tuesday evening, under the auspices of the South . Wellington National Reserve. A blackboard, with specially drawn maps, made the lecture easy to follow. The lecturer gave many instances of the heroism and endurance of the Anzacs and their brave British Allies, which gave lustre to the campaign that must ever stand as one of the most glorious achievements ot British arms. He concluded with some stirring episodes of Lieut. Forsbaw and Corporal Jacka, V.C.'s. The lecture was preceded by a musical and elocutionary programme, and items were contributed by Mr. and Mrs. Wood, Mr. Goudy, Mr. M'Konzie, and Miss Pedrie. Miss Caddick was accompanist.
