KECENT' KESOL UTIONS. The following resolutions were passed at the recent session of Grand Lodge, LO.G.T., and referred to the executive for consideration. The executive have \met and confirmed the resolutions. 1. That no liquors be sold at Bellamy's, and that members of Parliament be requested to follow the example- ol liis Majesty the King. 2. That the New Zealand Federation of Labour be urged to declare itself in favour of National Prohibition. 3. That no posters or advertisements re alcohol be permitted in No-License areas.

4. That the Government be requested to print sciontifictemprrauce leaflets for distribution over the Dominion.

5. That temperance members of Parliament be urged to form an Independent Temperance Party.

6. That where death is cither direct'y or indirectly caused by alcohol, the Coroner ho requested to state same in the official report.

7. That no'liquor he sold either on tho day preceding a general election or tho day of election.

8. That the law re river and packet licenses be strictly enforced.

!). Thai no liquors he allowed to en ter the King Country by any convey ance.

10. That the vlnirehes and the Solvation Army be requested to displnv larpe temperance posters in front of tlicir buildings.
