UNSETTLED WEATHER
Unsettled weather is likely to continue, states the official forecast by tho Meteorological Department. 'Yesterday was thick and foggy in Wellington and Ilio surrounding district, with the wind in the south. Occasionany tub fog blankot lightened, and patches of~bTue showed out in the sky, mil; as the day wore on the mist gained ilYe ascendancy, and tho night was gloomy and wet. These conditions appear to havo been general.' Much iffist, fog, and rain generally, may he oxpeqtcd, with snow on the high lovels in tho south.
