THE WEATHER
FORECAST AND SUMMARY AT 4 P.M..YESTERDAY. Present indications arc for a further decline in atmospheric pressure, northerly -winds prevailing and increasing strong to gale. The' weather is likely to continue unsettled, -with, much mist, fog, and rain generally and siw';on the high levels in the south. Unsettled, cloudy, and misty conditions have been general, and considerable rainfall has been reported. The barometer has fallen everywhere, and strong northerly and easterly winds have predominated.
