Tho Wairarapa Farmers' Co-operativo Association,- Ltd., stock department,, report on their autumn cattle fair at Pahiatua:—Wo offered 320& head, and, generally speaking, the yarding was a record ono for Wairarapa, Tho quality all round was exceptionally good, and the manner in which the cattle were drafted was favourably commented on by buyers. The' attendance was very large, buyers from a distance being prominent, including Gisbornc, Hawke's Bay, Taranato, Manawatu, and Wanganui, 'whilst the Wairarapa was strongly represented. Business at auction was animated for all classes, with, the exception of grown steers in low condition, and a highly successful sale has to be reported. All classes, especially buUocks with condition, sold readily, and tho demand for young cattle was especially keen.
