(Rec. May 6, 5.5 r».m.) Sydney,- May 6. In a game' of Rugby football a •New Zealand soldiers' team defeated Sydney University by 9 points to 8. It was a well .-untested game, the visitors snatching victory just on the close of time. Aniodoe scored two tries, one of which was' converted, and Hardingham kicked a penally goal for the winners.—Press Assn.
NEW ZEALANDERS BEATEN. (Rec. May 6, 11.5 p.m.) London, May 5. Yorkshire beat the New Zealanders at Leeds by 19 points to 8. Yorkshire's superiority outside the scrum gave them the victory.
