IMPERIAL CONFERENCE REPORT FAR-REACHING POLICY , (Reo. May 3, 8.40 p.m.) _„ London, May 3. Ihe Colonial Secretary (Mr. W. H. Long) has issued a statement respect mg the work of the Imperial War Conference, -which is now approaching tho end of its labours, together with somo of tho resolutions. Ho states that some matters are of a most confidential character, and at present the publication of tho resolutions and debates in connection with these ■■will probably'bo impossible till after the war. Ho records that the Conference's decision was unanimous in respect to tlie resolutions which can now bo published. On no occasion was it necessary to divideor withdraw a motion because no agreement could be reached.
