HOW ARE THEY POSSIBLE? PERTINENT QUESTIONS IN | PARLIAMENT London, May 1. In the House of Commons, Sir Henry Dalzicl asked why enemy attacks were possible oil the coast of Kent, while the naval attacks on Zecbruggo were apparently impossible. Sir K. Carson (First Lord of the Admiralty) said it must he remembered although the loss of life caused by these raids was regrettable, the raids do not possess any military value. He assured the House that' continuous attention was given to this area. Mr. R. P. Houston: Can you explain how the enemy destroyers pass through our minefields with impunity? Sir E. Carson: I cannot explain.— Router.
